Happy Christmas from Mac 2022!! 

Covid is over.

As I write this page my eldest brother has Covid.  My Mum has Covid.  (But Covid is over.)  On the phone my brother didn't sound as though he had a cold.  In her Nursing Home my Mum sat up and demanded "Food!  Food!".  (Which is pretty normal these days - actually.....)

So now that "Covid is over" we've all been getting on with our lives.  Going back to normality.   

Google Timeline has been following me around and I've been looking at what it says I've been doing in 2022.

I've visited 22 different Pubs. 

Only been in The Village 223 times this year.  (I'm slipping.) 

And spent 419 hours drinking beer.  So far.

I've done a total of 69 hours shopping - that's just over an hour a week - which for a bloke seems a lot...

I've walked 1,558 miles.  Who needs a car?

I've spent 1,025 hours playing golf.  That's 177 rounds. 153 played at Salisbury. 

24 rounds at other Golf Clubs all over the place - which I wouldn't have got to if it wasn't for the kind people who took me.  Alright.  A car has its uses.  I just can't drive one.  Thank you for taking me!

I haven't done anything else.  No time.

Happy Christmas!  And a busy New Year.  More beer.  More golf.  More walking.  And I might find time to go some different places too.
